Train to deliver Retail Higher Apprenticeships for FREE!

Funding from the European Social Fund is available to equip practising assessors to deliver Retail Higher Apprenticeships to independent retail businesses in London.
To be eligible for this training you should be a self-employed, qualified assessor in London with experience in the retail or visitor economy sector. Alternatively, you could be employed by a small, London-based private training provider.
On completing the programme, further funding is available for assessors to sign up and support learners through three modules of the Higher Apprenticeship in Retail.

The programme consists of four training days:

Day 1 and 2 – Enhanced assessor training
Learn to design and deliver effective, interactive training sessions to groups of people or individuals.

Day 3 – Coaching and mentoring
Learn how to mentor your students and gain the knowledge and skills to coach them effectively.

Day 4 – Higher Apprenticeship programme delivery
Learn how three modules of the Higher Apprenticeship programme can be evidenced via mapping to units from People 1st’s Guide to Successful Retailing and Management 1st programmes.

In addition, find out about the opportunity to work with and support individuals working in retail management to complete three units of the Higher Apprenticeship. The opportunity is available through ESF funding.

Assessor Academy courses will be held at Hospitality House, 11-59 High Road, East Finchley, N2 8AB, on the following dates:

Day 2 – Fri 9 Jan 2015
Day 3 – Wed 14 Jan 2015
Day 4 – Fri 16 Jan 2015

Day 1 – Thu 22 Jan 2015
Day 2 – Fri 23 Jan 2015
Day 3 – Wed 11 Feb 2015
Day 4 – Fri 13 Feb 2015

Intake 3
Day 1 – Thu 5 Feb 2015
Day 2 – Fri 6 Feb 2015
Day 3 – Wed 11 Feb 2015
Day 4 – Fri 13 Feb 2015
